Misconceptions
about how to get to heaven
A lot of people hear second-hand about
what God says in the Bible about how to go to heaven without really hearing
the truth. Listed here are some of the more common beliefs of what is necessary
to go to heaven - all incorrect.
1. Merely believe in God.

"You believe that there is one God? Good! Even the
demons believe that - and shudder." James 2:19

2. Hope your good works outweigh
your bad works in the end.

"All our righteous acts are like filthy rags."
Isaiah 64:6

3. Keep the law.
|
"A man is not justified by observing the law, but
by faith in Jesus Christ." Galatians 2:16
|
4. Go to church.
Even the Antichrist in the last days
will be attending church (II Thessalonians 2:4), though it will not save
him from hell.
5. Lastly, some people just never
address the question and do nothing. This is probably the most seductive
way to miss heaven.
